Professional Bio
Anna McGovern is the Managing Director of Pondview Group, LLC, a boutique consulting firm specializing in supply chain, procurement, and operations management. With a proven track record of optimizing supply chains, Anna achieves measurable operational efficiencies and enhances end-to-end supply chain performance.
Over her 30+ year career working for global enterprises, such as Unilever, Arcade Beauty, and Spartech, Anna led teams and programs that delivered massive savings of over $500 million and launched over 500 projects, generating billions in revenue.
Anna spent the majority of her career at Unilever, where she worked in local, regional, and global supply chains in Planning, Manufacturing, and Procurement. She had multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility, with her last role as CPO/Global Director of Personal Care Procurement overseeing an $8 billion spend.
With prior roles as Vice President of Supply Chain and Procurement at Arcade Beauty and Chief Supply Chain Officer at the Food Bank for New York City, Anna turned around troubled operations by bringing extensive experience and expertise in collaborative planning, operations management, and supplier relationships. She consistently helps manufacturers of all sizes maximize profits and value from their supply chains.
Anna serves on the Board of Directors of CONNSTEP, Connecticut’s MEP (Manufacturing Extension Partnership), and is the Connecticut Chapter Leader of the Procurement Foundry.
A native of Connecticut, Anna earned a BS degree from the University of Bridgeport and an MBA from Sacred Heart University. She has completed CPIM and CSCP certification from the Association of Supply Chain Management. She has a certificate from Penn State University for Designing Competitive Supply Chains.
Anna lives in Monroe, Connecticut, with her husband, two sons, and her 1-year-old dog, Sesame. She enjoys the art of cooking and entertaining and is an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan.
