Women in Production 

Designed for: Women in production, direct production support, and shop-floor roles in manufacturing that do not have direct reports. This program is best suited for women who are newer team members, team leaders, and/or those that are identified as having leadership potential but limited leadership experience.

The Women in Production program is a 20-week course to support the professional development of production, production support, and shop floor employees. Employees in production settings often have tremendous insight into the culture, products and processes that manufacturing companies need to innovate. By developing these women into leaders, we can improve the industry overall and inspire other women to explore careers in manufacturing.

In this 100% virtual program, recorded lessons allow participants to learn at their own pace with a time commitment of about an hour each week. The program also includes a StrengthsFinders skills assessment, one-on-one coaching with a certified coach, and monthly peer discussions to build a robust professional network.

Since the program's inception in 2021, more than 1,000 leaders have graduated from the WiM Education Foundation's Women in Production program.
