Organization Overview
The Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership (KY-MEP) works with manufacturers throughout the Commonwealth to implement on-site projects, conduct training, and connect companies to University of Louisville resources and our partners throughout the state to ensure a sustainable future for manufacturing in Kentucky.
As industry leaders, the Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership (KY-MEP) collaborates with manufacturers throughout the Commonwealth to affect positive change management, implement transformational systems and processes, and introduce customized culture models that support a talent pipeline and a sustainable workforce. We leverage technological resources from the University of Louisville and our partners to provide an innovative platform that supports the future of Kentucky manufacturing.
Our goal is to help companies boost productivity, retain and create jobs and compete in new markets here and abroad. KY-MEP is part of the MEP National Network, led by the Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The network is meant to strengthen and empower U.S. manufacturers and is composed of 51 MEP Centers located in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
