Renee Benson Story Memorial Donation

The Women in Manufacturing Team is saddened to learn of the passing of Renee Benson Story. Through her work as a Site Manager at GE Appliance's Decatur Plant and as a founding member of the WiM Alabama Chapter, Renee supported, promoted and inspired women in manufacturing throughout her career and life, fulfilling WiM's mission and inspiring many who she touched.

To honor Renee's legacy, GE Appliances, A Haier Company has decided to create a memorial scholarship fund with the WiM Education Foundation (WiMEF) in Renee's honor. Individuals and companies are invited to make a monetary donation to fund and 100% of donations will benefit future participants in WiMEF educational programs. Scholarship recipients will be selected by representatives from GE Appliances, A Haier Company.
